Getting a job~

.. is not just about your skills on interviews and exams, or your suitability for a certain position.. It's also about your time management and the know-how on pre-employment requirements~! ^_^ Today, that's what I'm tackling.. (actually it started yesterday~).. so.. wish me luck!


My itinerary for the day is: 1) Go to my aunt and have the costumes quoted (sideline) 2) Go to NBI Carriedo to have my NBI renewed (I have a hit so I can't renew it in Megamall, sadly..) 3) Go to Makati to claim my TIN ID~ 4) Go to ACS to finally finish my clearance. Wish me luck~!

Biz Study and Chao Fan

I woke up at the sound of Meralco's persistent knocking at the gate.. for a meter reading. Geez. So I decided to wake up early anyway.. Haha. I need to do a lot of work also..


Last night, my mom went out on a dinner with my cousins (and her cousins). Then my aunt (owner of Taters) told my mom to have ME do a feasibility study of the new biz I want to create, then pass it to her with ME. Reason is, she wants to teach me business. I was so excited! So, now.. I am awake early to do the study.. Heehee. Also last night, my mom liked my chao fan.. heehee. Okay, time for work~!

Flameless Concept, KPC, and Heal The World~ :p

I woke up at 3pm.. lol :x I made special home-made chao fan for my mom (although I wasn't quick enough, she had to run out and wasn't able to taste it).. but anyway, that's my food for today. If you want the recipe, I can post it here some time. ^^~

Yesterday, my mom and I went out to meet some people, for business and for my brother (a 'special' friend of his is in Manila and we wanted to give him his new iPod)..


So, we ate at KFC.. and after that thing.. this new product was there in the middle of SM North.. it's called the Flameless Concept. A stove using "cold heating" to induce cooking. You can even touch the stove and it's not even hot! Even the cooking ware is not hot.. only the food inside.. it was totally cool.

Then they were giving away this standalone music player/speaker with card reader and usb port.. and they had to call their boss for approval. Then this boss talked to my mom and found out she was a writer for ABS-CBN, and then offered her to take home the stove (51k), the 15-pc cookingware (48k) and the home theater system (61k).. if my mom would help promote their product! We were so overjoyed but didn't know there was a catch. We had to buy 1 of the items to shoulder the "shipping costs" etc from Japan (since its a Japan technology).. and the lowest item was 45k.. I was like WTF..

My mom asked my dad about it and he immediately rejected the offer. Though, my mom, had a counter-offer to the company. She'd help promote in her upcoming movie, and to her contacts, in exchange for their goods. I dunno what happened next, coz we alr left~ I felt really down.. I was like OMG we're getting free cool stuff (I absolutely loved the stove).. but then, oh geez we had to shell out 45k to get all of them (all worth 171k, I think).. *sigh* Too bad.. but my dad was right.. it wasn't that practical.. :x

So we went home and at night, I was so hyper. Dunno why and dunno what caused it. But I was talking about funny things, but with sense, and my mom was laughing so loud with me. She said, maybe I was just hungry, BUT I JUST ATE that time. LOL~ I was saying things like, me remembering an e-book that I downloaded way way way back on the recipes of popular fast food chains like McDonalds, KFC, Burger King.. and I remember that KFC's chicken was made from 10 unique spices!!! But I couldn't remember what they were. Then I was like.. "OMG what if I tried all our spices in the kitchen (McCormick stuff) and then put them all together.. maybe I can recreate KFC's chicken! Then I was like, "OMG then I'd sell them outside and name it KPC~! Then my mom was like, "KPC?" And I told her.. "Kentucky PIRATED Chicken".. then we laughed so heartily we couldn't stop.

Then she was like, "You already pirate computer stuff, now you also wanna pirate KFC?" Then we laughed again, and it was such a loud night. Mind you that was like, 1am~ HAHA~

Then there's this new biz that we are setting up.. personal care products with the "Milagro extract".. which is a miracle concentrate that can disinfect, deodorize, and degrease almost anything~ And it's so alkaline that it can improve your skin and remove dirt and scare bacteria away~! It's so amazing. Anyway, last night I was thinking about it on a scientific standpoint, then I realized that if this product was to be commercially introduced, it would be boo-ed by most pharmaceutical and personal care companies, since it's organic and environmentally friendly. In a larger scale, it can even phase out the existence of drugs and chemicals~! All you need is the miracle concentrate~! Of course, a lot of people will lose their business and wouldn't want that to happen. So I thought, "man, this product is so heavenly and will help a lot of people.. but is minutely possible to fly. 'Coz a lot of people wouldn't want it to exist, to keep their businesses." Then I thought, "Only Michael Jackson can promote this kind of product, but sadly, he's gone." THEN MY MOM LAUGHED SO LOUD. I was like.. "What? What?" And she was like, "Why would you think only Michael Jackson can promote such product?" Then I was like, "'Coz he's Michael Jackson~! And only HE can promote something this huge.. and he has the 'Heal The World' song, ne?" (With the "Heal The World" phrase in a singsong voice..) Then my mom laughed again~! Then I also laughed.. and it was already 3am that time, I think. I was already in bed, thinking about these things. And my mom was laughing so hard. It has been a while since she laughed so heartilly like that. I kinda like it. ^^~ Anyway, that's all for now, 'coz I am updating from a small widget on my desktop, and it's so small I feel like it's already exploding from all the words that I have typed just for 1 post.. heehee. TC you all~!

New PC, new hair, new shoes, new biz, new life~!

My first post~! Okay so I wanna go back to blogging.. but I'm mostly on LJ.. but I found this neat gadget for Windows 7 aka Blogger Buddy~ so I can update from the comfort of my own desktop~ heehee.. so I thought I'd try out blogger for a change.. <3


Anyway.. today I posted a ton of pics on facebook.. coz I set up my pc at the comfort of my own room (previous location was the icafe..).. so now I have my gadgets all in one place.. ^^ I also have new shoes.. New haircut.. AND NEW BIZ~ <3 New life.. so happy. WISH ME LUCK~!
